Welcome Letter

In the name of God the most Beneficent the most Merciful

Allah, the Exalted, says:

{Allah will raise up in ranks those who believed among you and those who have been given knowledge}

{Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving}

{Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endowed with understanding that receive admonition}.

SafwanibnAssal al-Muradi said I went to the  Prophet (peace be upon him) and said to him I came to seek knowledge he said: welcome student of knowledge.

Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said:” people will come to you seeking knowledge. When you see them say to them, ‘welcome, welcome,’ in obedience to the injunctions of the Messenger of Allah and instruct them in knowledge.” (One of the narrators said) “I said to  Al-Hakam: What is lqnuhum?’ He Said: ‘instruct them.’     ”

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “The disappearance of knowledge is the death of scholars, the disappearance of knowledge is the death of scholars.”

And he said peace be upon him:"When Allah wishes good for someone, He bestows upon him the understanding of the religion."

The Islamic sciences are the only prophetic heritage left, since the prophets neither bequeathed dinar nor dirham but only knowledge, and whoever acquires it, in fact, acquires a portion from the prophetic inheritance and so seeking knowledge is the most precious thing which life and money should be spent on.

Truly, angels lower their wings beneath the student of knowledge being pleased with what he does, and Allah wills good for the person who follows this path, and facilitates it for the true seekers.

Abu-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah () said, "He who follows a path in quest of knowledge, Allah will make the path of Jannah easy for him. The angels lower their wings below the seeker of knowledge, being pleased with what he does. The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth and even the fish in the depth of the oceans seek forgiveness for him. The superiority of the learned man over the devout worshipper is like that of the full moon to the rest of the stars (i.e., in brightness). The learned are the heirs of the Prophets who bequeath neither dinar nor dirham but only that of knowledge; and he who acquires it, has in fact acquired an abundant portion."

So, if you want to know your position at the side of Allah, look at what you are occupied with, and try to be occupied with what he is pleased with.

We bring you good news of opening the Faculty of Islamic Studies-Fit, with its bright face shining in the heart of Europe, spreading the light of knowledge to all around the world, following the footsteps of pious and righteous companions who got the prophetic knowledge, and then left the Prophet’s city, for the sake of conveying knowledge to people around the world, and likewise, their followers and the scholars have done before(may Allah be pleased with them all).

Finally, we mention the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) statement,{welcome, student of knowledge}, welcome you all.
